I saw on this blog I was reading where a lady was answering the question, "what were you doing five years ago?". It really got me thinking. My immediate response was that I was probably in college, maybe not married, you know - really different. But of course that is not it. Logan is 5 1/2 years old. It's funny how I think that time froze for me in my early 20's and everyone else is getting older, not me. And it's not that I am afraid of getting older, it really doesn't bother me. I just froze a picture of me in time and that's is what I always go to in that first split second that I think of myself. I think maybe it's because after you have kids, maybe you don't spend so much time evaluating yourself as you did before (and maybe you should!). Anyway, five years ago. I was a stay home mom of Logan. Logan was 8 1/2 months old. Chad worked construction during the day and UPS supervisor in the evenings. Logan was the absolute center of my world. I knew he was super busy, but I didn't know the half of it! He was crawling and on the verge of walking about a month later. We were very happy. So happy, we couldn't wait for more! Here are some pictures from then.

Please let the rain stop!!!

These pictures have nothing to do with the rain, but I'm just saying - come on, let it stop! Here are some of our latest pictures. Check out the way Sully is looking at Logan. He already adores his big brothers.
Logan is holding a balloon SWORD, in case you were wondering ;)!

Look at Chad on a lawn mower ride with Papaw and the boys in that tiny trailer - classic!

Easter

We had a very busy Easter Sunday. The Easter bunny came and brought Logan a transformer and colored pencils and Wiley a toy that shoots disks and a spray bottle (if you know Wiley you know the spray bottle was a huge hit!) and Sully got some teething rings and pacifiers. We had a huge lunch and had a lazy rest of the day. Here are some of the highlights.

Can you believe more snow!?!

So when I woke up Friday and looked out the window all I saw was a big nothing. The weather guys went on and on about how it WAS going to snow again and it WOULD be in Little Rock. I thought they were crazy and mean for getting all the little kids hopes up. But then around noon it came down and we got a good little snow again. The kids had fun and this time I actually let them play in it. They had a snowball fight with Chad and loved every minute of it.

Snow!!!

It has been in the 70's the last couple of days and today we woke up to SNOW! The boys were very excited since we hardly ever get any actual snow. I overheard Wiley look out the window and say - "holy cow!". It's gone now, but it was the perfect amount to suite me.
